Chess Strategy: The Chess Formula Tactic “The Lesser of 2 Pieces”

Chess Strategy: The Chess Formula Tactic “The Lesser of 2 Pieces”

I recently played a chess match that resulted in my opponent resigning after using 2 tactic’s from our E-Book “The Chess Formula”, which teaches the top tactic’s in chess. The tactic used in this match is known as “The Lesser of 2 Pieces”, which is when 2 high ranking chess pieces are on the same horizontal line of the chessboard, and only 1 space apart. The tactic is placing a pawn protected by one if its own pieces between the 2 high ranking chess pieces, forcing your opponent to lose a high ranking piece to a pawn.

After this tactic, my opponent was then placed in what’s called the “Shield Capture”, which is also covered in The Chess Formula. This is when a high ranking piece is in front of the King, and cannot move, forcing it to be captured. In this chess match, it was the queen that was placed as the shield.

What’s great about The Chess Formula, is the E-Book not only makes players aware of all of these tactic’s, but also educates how to use them, and prevent them from happening to you while you play.
