As we mentioned in how to checkmate with the queen and knight, when it comes to checkmating with the queen and bishop, it is fairly simple, since you can checkmate your opponent with only a queen and King.
The advantage to the queen & bishop checkmate is that you can achieve checkmate much faster than with just the queen and king, as you don’t have to move your King all the way across the chessboard.
When checkmating with the Queen, bishop, and your King, make sure you trap your opponent’s King.
